Float Down the Kishwaukee River!
Yes you can rent canoes from the Genoa Park District and enjoy a few hours on the Kishwaukee River. We have up to 4 canoes and 8 kayaks that may be rented during the week as well as weekends. The park district staff will drop you off and pick you up. You just need to pick the day (we request a one week notice for weekends and two days notice during the week) view the rules and register at the park district. The trips last approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours and must be completed by 4:30 p.m. Life jackets are provided and must be worn. A $100 deposit is required.
