Groups/Youth Organizations/Day Camps/Day Care
Any daycares/youth organizations wishing to visit Chamberlain pool must first fill out the request form. If we can accommodate your request, you will be notified by email and will be required to go through necessary training and complete all necessary paperwork including a certificate of insurance and contract. Those who are found to enter the facility without going through proper training and providing insurance, will be asked to leave the facility and forfeit their admissions. The process includes a preseason, 1.5-hour training for all staff that will attend with the daycare/camp participants during the month of May. Date TBD. Orientation is done once a season, if you are unable to send a representative to the orientation, your group will not be able to visit our pool. Upon your first day, you and your children will be greeted by a pool manager and will go over pool rules and expectations.
Our designated group swim time is 12-3 during our open swim, Monday-Friday.
- Fees are required to be paid upon entry. Payment can be taken over the phone is necessary, by calling 815/784-5612 ext 306. Fees: $5.00 per child, Counselors and bus drivers are free.
- Swimmers must be at least 5 years of age or older
- Most or all swimmers need to be swim tested by Chamberlain Pool Managers, regardless if you have been swim tested elsewhere. This will be done on your first visit, please arrive early so we can complete the swim tests prior to the pool opening for the day.
- We have 3 groups of swimmers.
- Wading pool only-Non-swimmer, 7 & under
- Non-Swimmer (Red Band)
- Swimmer (Green Band)
- DCFS ratios must be followed.
